2008 Club Series Calendar

This site, in general, promotes ultimate in Florida.

Specifically, it is aimed at promoting the Club Florida Sectional tournament, part of UPA Club Championships.

Sectionals 2008

Tournament Date: Sept. 20th/21st (divisions with more than 6 teams will have a 2 day event, divisions with less will only compete on Saturday)
Registration Deadline - Aug. 29th
Location: 401 E 65th St, Hialeah, Florida (Amelia Earhart Park). Here's a field map showing numbered fields.
Register your team by Friday, August 29, 2008, 7pm EST. upa details.

Tourny fee (Pay Tournament Director)

Open: $15 per player on roster (anticipate a 2 day event)
Women's: $15 per player, $200 max per team (anticipate a 1 day event)
Mixed: $15 per player, $200 max per team (anticipate a 1 day event)

Tourny Fee Payment Options:

One payment per team (players shouldn't pay individually)

Paypal payment is preferred.

The person paying for the team can make a team payment to
miamiultimateplayers@gmail.com through Paypal.  To pay via paypal, Go to
www.paypal.com, and at the top of the page, there is a link that says send
money.  Click it, and people should be able to send money to the MUPA
email address, listed above.

Once a team payment to paypal is made, please send a confirmation email to
kettenring@gmail.com that includes the team name, division (Open, Women's
or Mixed) and how much they sent and the contact persons contact info, in
case a follow up is needed.

The payment is $15 per player on the roster with a $200 team cap for the
women's and mixed division and is based on the official roster (and not
who shows up to play at sectionals).

If a team can't pay via paypal, it can send the sectionals tourny 
payment, made out to MUPA, to:
